Diabetic Foot Ulcers
Diabetic foot ulcer is a common and serious complication of both type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus. Diabetes is associated with ischaemia, neuropathy and deformities that lead to a particularly high risk of developing foot ulcers and a low likelihood of ulcer healing.
